I have spoken and even mentored some people who where in iJango. It's too bad the business fell apart and I can feel your pain since I've been down that road with iLearningGlobal.

I guess business plans that start with “i” only work for ipod, iphone, ipad.

iJango Closes Down

It's never good to kick a company when they are down regardless if your the person telling your team to re-evaluate their business by: “do you really want to put your future in their hands?”.

Hey, maybe they had it good on the inside. Who knows.

I believe this is the 2nd online portal type business I've seen fall down and close shop. The other one I made some cool money with was Winzy and they just disappeared into the night.

Look,  iJango closing down isn't the worst thing in the world. When iLearningGlobal shut it's doors I was pissed but hey, it's a business. Not all businesses make it and times change.

The one constant is you.

I hope you really understand that.

If you were building a list, and built a good reputation with your following you should be able to pick back up with another company that you felt called your name. I would highly suggest staying away from technology type network marketing businesses as I've been burned and have seen WAY too many close shop, but it's your wallet.

After the close of efusjon, there is more and more companies out there that just have the signs of bad things to come. The over hype, the over promises, the products in a competitive niche.

Whatever it might be iJango closing down should be a learning experience.

iJango Closes Shop But Won't Go Down?

I was doing some research and the ijango website isn't dead. Most companies when they fall down and close shop they tell their reps one of 2 things.

1) Thanks for helping us build our brand but we are no longer going to be building our business on the backs of reps. We will discontinue network marketing as a advertising source and will stop paying reps soon.

or

2) We are dead in the water and thanks for the memories.

iJango took another approach and decided to shift to a whole new business.

iJango = Nexcel Debit Card Program

I'm just shaking my head right now.

For all other please learn to develop yourself and build a business online by learning HOW to. I want to share with you how I went from a company that folded while I was mowing my lawn (iLearningGlobal) and in 1 week was a top producer in my now current company in Numis Network.

A business closing isn't entirely your fault. Things happen. Make the best decisions you can and move on.

Check out what I do and hopefully ex-iJango folks can learn to market online to pick up where they started.

To our valued weJango members:

As you may have already heard the weJango services are coming to an end. In fact the services will end precisely on August 1, 2011 at 12:00 am CST. In light of weJango coming to an end we are offering you an incredible opportunity in return.

All weJango Members have a change to opt in as a member with Nexcel. Read below to learn about the opportunity and how this transition will affect you.

What is Nexcel?

In short the Nexcel Debit Card program is a referral card program. Get a card, refer cards, and get paid 70% of the revenues they generate!

We offer a prepaid MasterCard that can be used as a debit or credit card. It has no monthly maintenance fee and anyone who joins as a Member is qualified to receive a Nexcel Prepaid Master Card. No credit check is required because no credit is given. It is a prepaid card. Your money is insured and if you lose your card a new one will be issued with your funds transferred to it. If you lose cash, it is gone forever. The Nexcel Prepaid Master Card is convenient, safer than cash and your key to gaining financial freedom.

The benefit of using a card like this is that we have been trained by the credit card industry to spend today and pay up down the road, and it isn’t working for us. We’re neck deep in credit card debt and it’s ruining our lives. What more and more of us are wanting to learn is how to live within our means, spend only what we have and prepaid debit cards are what people are turning to as evidenced by the fact that the debit card industry is doubling in size every year.

What is in it for me? We reward our Members with up to 70% of the merchant and transactional revenues generated by their personally referred members for the use of our online shopping affiliate network, our Merchant Rebate Network, and the Nexcel Prepaid MasterCard.

  • A member can earn 50% of the commission earned by their personally referred members if they have loaded a minimum of $250 on the Nexcel Prepaid Master Card in the prior month. (Remember, the $250 loaded is your money to spend and not a fee!)
  • A member can earn 70% of the revenue generated by their personally referred members if they make a monthly deposit by Direct Deposit, have loaded a minimum of $250 on the Nexcel Prepaid Master Card in the prior month, and downloaded the Nexcel Toolbar.
  • Members can also earn 50% cash back on personal shopping purchases through the online affiliates on the Nexcel Toolbar. That’s right, we still offer our personalized Toolbar with coupons from hundreds of well known affiliates that you can earn higher cash back rewards on!
