Here I share with you a 3 step marketing plan example.
The components are:
traffic
marketing system
follow up process
all of this can be automated to a large extent and how I did it part time working as a mechanical engineer
Marketing Plan Example Of Traffic
Traffic essentially means the amount of people that comes to visit a website, the number of pages visitors click, and the amount of time a visitor views a page on a website. That is important because having an online business is the same as having a traditional business. You need people to know about you and go to you for services, products or whatever your business offers. Without traffic you won't get business… sales, visitors etc. The same applies online. You need people to go to you and see what you have to offer. A marketing plan example would be something like this; You are an organic gluten free local pizza shop in Austin Texas. I am a person living in Austin who is craving organic ingredient pizza that is gluten free. I go to Google and type “Organic Gluten Free Pizza Near Me”. Guess what results Google provides? Your business is more than likely to be in the search results because you have a specific product. The person is a potential customer and your business has something to offer. Connection is made and now you have someone visiting your online business site. Simple.
Marketing Plan Example of a Marketing System
Having a marketing system is very doable. There are many scales of having one. Here is a small scale marketing plan example of a system.
Doctor's offices now have systems in place. It allows the patient to go online, place appointments, enter their insurance information and check on status of tests, prescriptions or questions. The reason having a system in any business is because it takes out the manual step by steps it takes which causes redundancy, missed information, lagging results and requires a lot of time. It's kind of a done for you set up so again you can focus on other more important tasks rather than tedious minor ones.
One final and more relate-able system you probably have already experienced would be ordering a pizza online. You see a pizza commercial and you happen to be on your Ipad and you realize you are hungry. You go to the pizza site of your choice and now you can place orders. You choose the size, toppings and crust. You then input your address, form of payment and contact information. Once you are done the system gives you a confirmation, receipt and estimated time of arrival. Then the business gets a nice ding on their computer for a new order so all they have to focus on is make your awesome pizza and deliver. Simple and easy. Making sense now?
Marketing Plan Example of A Follow Up Process
Now that you have a clear understanding of how a system can simplify your business efforts, the most important part is following up with your customers and clients. This doesn't have to be tedious and manual either but rather simple and automated.
A marketing plan example of a follow up process would be email marketing. Once you make your pizza order and input your email information, you are added to a list in the pizza business's data base to now add you to any future specials, new pizza's or grand openings. If you are already a customer of theirs buying pizza, why wouldn't they want to stay in touch with you in the future? You will more than likely buy from them again if they stay top of mind to you. There are many followup systems that are available to simplify your process such as email marketing or calling.
I mainly used examples of systems that you could relate to on a day to day. My point is that ANYONE can have all this for their own business. Especially for those that have an online business like myself. It's because of these three things that have allowed me to retire from engineering at 33 and you can do it too.

@Mona not really secrets… just things people tend to not focus on or just don’t work on enough
