“Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment”Things are about to get crazy in here….I have a lot of FUN. Not just on vacation, but at work too.I love helping people make money, I love to watch them grow. I love watching their light bulbs turn on. I love to help people LEARN.
I have fun with my family. Every day. I have three kids and the youngest is a year old. The most fun I have is playing with him every day.
I have fun with my business. The really fun part is the business trips I take every three months. I can bring my family with me. So many people come up to me to tell me how I have helped them in some way.
Giving back to those who are complete strangers ….. and you can do this totally ONLINE.
We go and hang out at the bars, go out to dinner, take lots of pictures, and have lively discussions.
The event coordinators ask me to speak on stage.
Me.
A shy Asian kid from Texas. On stage in front of 6,000 people. But once I get up there, I dance, I talk, I yell, I have FUN!!!
Based on the standing ovations that my audience was nice enough to give me, they have FUN too!
But things weren't always fun.
As I sit here typing, it is Sunday afternoon. Many of you know that means. It means the next day, you have to go back to a job. You may like your job and you may be grateful for it, but something is not right…
The Sunday night dread must be setting in.
Is it setting in? The fact that you have to go to bed early, and get up early on a Monday morning?
Some people can't sleep, because they have to back to work! Then they can't wake up, because they couldn't sleep.
Where is the fun in that?
Setting The Stage For A Non Boring Life
In the next several minutes, I want to show you how to set the stage to have a lot of more fun in life. But I have to warn you, you will have to go through a period of time where you are not having much fun.
It is called HARD WORK.
Hard work won't kill you, but if you do it right, you will be able to build a business that is fun, pays you to have fun, and helps alleviate the stress of financial emergencies.
=======Are you ready to go?=======
1. Finding The Why That Makes You Cry
Why are you really doing this.
REALLY….. WHY?
Skip the fact that you want money. We all want money and nice things. But we want them for different reasons. And our definitions of nice, based on where our financial thermostats are, are also different.
In order to find your why, you have to get extra special, crystal clear, no holds bar, HONEST with yourself.
If all you want in life is to not stress out about rent and buying new clothes for your kids, start there and then…
Go deeper than that.
WHY don't you want to stress about rent?
Is it worrying that you will be thrown into the street? Is it because you will have to move back in with your parents and hear the dreaded, “I told you so?” Is because you derive deep satisfaction from stringing together funds to pay for housing? What is it that you love about paying rent and hate about not paying it?
Your reasons tell a lot about you.
They tell you what your values are. Where your priorities are. Even what your mission in life is.
Dig deeper into your brain. Silence all of that chatter. Your reason for making money is probably buried under all of the BS that you have taken in over the years.
Go to school ==> Get good grades ==> Graduate ==> Get a good job ==> Pay bills to live.
Get a better job ==> Not be so miserable at work ==> MAYBE make a little more money.
Get promoted ==> Pay for your wedding ==> Pay your mortgage ==> Pay into kids' college fund.
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these reasons, except for one thing.
They are very unspecific.
They are also very circular.
Get an education, get a good job, have kids, pay for their education, so they can get good jobs….
Is that all there is to life?
Where is the personal fulfillment? The happiness? THE FUN?
Having a general goal of “getting a good job” is bogus. Come on, you can do better that that when it comes to your goals, right?
JOBS are for those that have small goals…
Bigger Goals:
-Want a big goal like end world hunger
-Giving free education to 3rd world countries
-Clean water so people don't DIE from undrinkable water
Medium Goals:
-Buying the BEST care for your parents… not just stashing them in a retirement home that would scare you if YOU WENT THERE
-Affording the best education for your kids
-Buying organic foods, hiring personal fitness trainers, sleeping on a NICE $4k bed…. living healthier
What makes you WISH that you could win the lottery, just so you have THAT dream?
Most who win the lottery LOSE all of their money.. why?
They have not raised their financial thermostat internally…. it didn't match their net worth externally and now they are back to square one squandering their winnings.
Dive deep past the BS, down into the inner workings of your psyche. Swim around until you discover a hidden treasure, the one thing that you want so bad that you would do crazy things just to get it.
Many people in their 20s feel lost. Or they blindly feel their way through life until they have some traction. Many feel old, and say so, before their 29th birthdays.
They are not old. They probably feel that they have come to the end of the line in their lives, goal-wise.
Let's talk about goals.

2. Goals: The Stepping Stones To The Life of Your Dreams
If you have discovered your true why, it may be skipping through the meadows of your mind, doing cartwheels and turning you into a bonafide dreamer. But in order to release that bad boy into the world that you live in, you….must…have….goal
Yes, the “G” word. It is a four-letter word to some.
But it doesn't have to be.
You may think of goals as sales goals that you have to perform at work.
They are more than that.
If you want to take the bull by the horns; make goal setting part of your personal development process.
If you aren't good at setting goals, or if you had made goals in the past and have woefully failed, then it is time to reconsider your strategy.
Sometimes, when you set goals, you may be setting them too high. Of course, being the super-duper ambitious person that you are, you want to set the bar high. But if you are setting the bar for the moon and all you have is a pogo stick, well, you are going to get pretty discouraged, pretty quickly.
Here is the key.
Write down your biggest goals. Then break them down. Reverse engineer them.
If you want to make $10,000 a month, how many sales do you have to have in order to reach them?
How much traffic do you have to send to your blog or sales page in order to make those kinds of sales?
How much do you have to make from each sale in order to reach that goal?
How much time do you need to get that goal?
How much do you want to make after a month? 2 months? 6 months?
Breaking your goals down so that they are more attainable, but you still have to reach out of your comfort zone to get them is more practical than shooting for the stars and NOT building a rocket ship to get there.
Am I saying you should downsize your goals?
Absolutely not.
What I am saying is that you need to break them down and create your own system (or use someone else's) to achieve your goals.
How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
Haha, I am not advocating eating exotic animals, but let me use an analogy here.
3. Eating An Elephant – Creating a Strategy To Reach Your Highest Potential
Let's say you really wanted to eat an elephant.
Eating this elephant will give you long life and you will be fed for years.
But first, you actually have to EAT IT.
Great! Where do you start? Do you start at the trunk? At the tail?
What do you use to eat it? A fork and knife? What kind of knife?
How do you get through the skin?
Once you get started, you need to stay with that body part.
Some people will start with the head. They get going and are doing well, when all of a sudden, they hit a snafu.
They then decide to quit and move over to a leg. Same thing happens.
They quit and move on to the stomach. Then the ears. Then the trunk.
Before they know it, they have chunks of elephant missing from all over the place and it still is not even close to being consumed.
They write it off as being impossible and go back to eating pine cones.
Here’s the thing.
If someone else has eaten that elephant, then you can do it too. Deciding not to do it because it seems too difficult, does not mean that it cannot be done.
History has shown us how awesome we can be if we just take a stand.
Abraham Lincoln was born in a one-room cabin. He had no formal education, but that didn’t stop him from educating himself and becoming a lawyer.
He advanced to become the 16th president of the United States. While trying to win the deadliest war in history, The Civil War, he lost his third son, a twelve-year old, born the same year that his second child died. He Though Lincoln was chronically depressed after losing two children, he managed to:
Abolish slavery.
Keep the southern United States from seceding.
Modernized the economy.
He was a great orator, and inspired many with his speaking:
“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable – a most sacred right – a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world.”
-Abraham Lincoln
Let’s look at the big picture. Here was a poor kid, without a formal education, born into a one-room house, in a third world country where it was legal to buy and sell people. He left the world after killing off the 400-year old institution of slavery, unifying a country in crisis and modernizing the economy, setting it up for the industrial revolution.
He wasn’t born a God. He was born an ordinary person, who dreamed big and changed the world forever.
He wasn’t born a president. He started by simply cracking open a book, learning to read and going from there. He built a rocketship that shot him into the celestial realm of accomplishments that few achieve.
He was the American Dream incarnate.
What can you do if you give up your excuses and focus hard enough? First off you will stop having a boring life… because if you think you have a boring life it's because you made it that way. We all can choose how we live and what we experience.

4. How To Focus So Hard On Something You Start It On Fire
The first thing you need to do is find your why, which we already discussed. You must want it so badly, that you can't think of anything else. Remember when you were a kid, and you saw something in the store that you just HAD to have? You could actually FEEL how bad you wanted it. You felt it in your stomach. Your eyes widened and then you got tunnel vision – nothing else in the room existed.
It is like falling in love – you can't wait to see that person again. You hold your breath when you see them. You think about them and what they are doing..
That is one leg of focus. Wanting it so bad you can't think of anything else. Focus comes automatically.
Action Removes Boring Life Syndrome
The second part is action. More specifically, massive action.
Tony Robbins is always talking about taking massive action. You bury your current situation or emotional state under a firestorm of focused action that is designed to help you change.
Focused action can help you get that very sexy dream that you have.
You will have to do a lot of things that are uncomfortable, things you may not like. Eventually, when you get better at it, you may start to enjoy it, especially if it helps you make some money.
While you are at it, why not have some fun?
To make your dreams more of a reality, start living as though they already happened.
Top athletes, like Michael Jordan, visualize their goals before they achieve them.
You can do the same.
Start visualizing yourself doing what you really, really want. Fall in love with your dream – court it, indulge it, spoil it, do anything for it. The first step to get away from your so called “Boring Life” is to first image, then want then set goals and finally take action.
What, you don’t think you have a right to dream? Are you afraid you are going to be disappointed? Stop right there.
This is YOUR dream. Own it. Love it. Care for it. Fight for it.
No one has a right to tell you that you can’t achieve it.
No one has a right to tell you what you should dream instead.
No one has a right to distract you from your true purpose in life.
It is they who should feel stupid for even suggesting such a thing.
Ok, here is where the fun part comes in.
Find your true dream. Nourish it. Work for it. Take it very seriously, but have a lot of fun. This is your child. You don’t raise children like a military boot camp recruit, but you do have fun with them. You are in charge of your day to day. You can take your boring life and make it awesome and memorable. It's up to you!
You are so much more than what you think you are.
