So how to qualify leads or should someone qualify when short on time?
It all started when I started to read the Timothy Ferris book 4 hour work week. Okay fine. I was “listening” to it.
But 2 of the major points he really sticks is outsourcing and NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE.
How to Quailify Leads Fast – Don't Do It Yourself
I find that awesome actually. Trying to resolve issues by email in my book is the way to go. Too many want me to walk them through things over the phone in the past and I nipped that in the butt real quick.
Now I got people who want to be on my team but have absolutely NO drive or Money.
Mike Dillard talks about picking your ideal team. Not letting beta reps eat up your precious time. This is exactly why I use a tool called MyPhoneRoom
I've spoken with J. Joshua Beistle and he talks about a couple things that I wanted to share. We talked about my situation only working my business part time and he has seen many people fall short of their business goals because of:
“Midnight to 6AM: Sleep.
6AM to 7AM: Breakfast.
7AM to 8AM: Kids to school, commute to work.
8AM to 5PM: Work.
5PM to 6PM: Drive home, maybe run an errand or two.
6PM to 7PM: Dinner with family.
7PM to 9PM: Make prospecting calls.
US law forbids business calls to households after 9pm so you are very limited in the amount of time you can make prospecting calls for your business.
9PM to 12AM: Emails, ad writing, training your team, catching up with all the general business work there is to do.
Wash, rinse, repeat.”
Is This How To Qualify Leads Like a Business Professional?
Well, that was me. Trying to squeeze in calls while also building my traffic and catching up with business after my kids went to bed.
That was a disaster for me. I did this for about 3-4 months and I grew my income but also burned myself out.
The cycle of “running” a business was taking it's toll. Having to try and make that money to justify the time I missed from my family and the time I didn't spend on myself. I don't care who you are, everyone needs down time and cool down time and when your working a day job and a business it's hard to find a dividing line.
I'm not built like super man. I got tired. I got fed up with lazy people. I started losing hope that I wouldn't be able to get to enough people to start to build my business fast enough.
If the point of my business was people but the majority of my time was spent with tire kickers something was wrong. I needed a better way to FILTER the junk out and only speak with qualified people who wanted to learn to make some money.
See, I'm not the government handing out free everything.
I decided my business needed to focus on customers I really wanted to train and educate. This was the break through to no longer wasting time with tire kickers.
And this is where Google helped me find:
Here is a breakdown BEFORE their upgrade. I will need to upgrade it soon to reflect the new addictions to MyPhoneRoom 2.0

It’s actually worse for others as they need more sleep so their time to market their business is even less. Then throw in those who have kids…. it’s a hard business to build if your not focused on things that product results.

Thats true, but you have to still find the time to grind it out and make it work..

This is a awesome post since I can relate to what you are saying. My 12:00 am- 12:00 am schedule is exactly the same as yours. So thanks for this

this is the main problem. there is only so much time and at the end of the day your tired and burned out. WHAT do you do with the little time that you have?
