One of the cool things I do on a daily basis is test different ways to make extra money online. See, there are a lot of people struggling without jobs but there are an even bigger segment that work a day job yet want to supplement their current income to afford the better things in life like vacations, living upgrades, and eliminating debt. I've used many ways to make extra money to pre pay my kids college tuition and even upgrade the ride I have.

One of the cool things that has popped up since the internet became mainstream is that there are so many people now that can make a pretty nice chunk of change just by writing online. This is one of the easier ways to make extra money because there is very little training outside of your own creative writing skills. If you have a passion and don't mind typing then writing online is a good way to get some cash pumping in.

One way I started was going to a product review site called epinions. There were one of the first places I noticed that would allow you to write product reviews and actually get paid on traffic that took action on your page. There are some guidelines to follow but generally nothing too strict and primarily for those NOT looking to use this for off page backlinks. If your just looking for ways to make extra money with absolutely no up front cash then writing on sites like epinions just makes sense. Now the returns will not be ground shattering but in the global scale of business there is so little up front investment that it doesn't matter as long as you can put in realistic expectations.

The pay isn't great but it's residual.

I know that seems like a cop out but come on. This post is geared to those that understand the power of blogging, seo, and article marketing. There is a HUGE market share out there for you to take if plan to attack it.

One of the golden rules I've experienced from students and people I've met on my online journey is this:

People Will Quit… Well the majority of them will when attempting to make money online.

If you plan to succeed and decide not to quit, you are already on your way to success. I love it when someone quits cause they only got $5 that month from their work. People these days are pessimists and don't understand the beauty of creating income. This stuff came from scratch and produces so why kill it off. Obviously your doing something that worked so why not dig deeper and grow it? Scale it up? Then explode it.

But if your really looking to pay off a car, finish off your college debt, or pay off some credit cards you need to do more damage with bigger payouts.

See Article Marketing is leveraging your past works. The more you get out there the better the chance it will stack. This is the mythical residual income many seek but fall short cause they can't stick with writing long enough. The goal of a way to make extra money wasn't “BIG” enough.

So from getting a taste of epinion checks and learning that there is money to be made out there I aligned myself with the BEST way I thought to leverage my time and return. I'm not looking to be a millionaire. I'm looking to get paid as a business and free up more time. So how do I super charge what I learned from epinions and writing and really put the ways to make extra money on steroids?

Start a Home Business. One where your not just running the business but OWNING the business.

For you forward thinkers and those that want to turn your already stout article writing into a much bigger pay check I highly recommend what I do below with my OWN writing:

People these days want to make money. Teach them the power of writing and show them how to make money from it by advertising things that people want. Assets. I've made some good money but just selling money… odd I know. People want gold and silver so I just write about it and people buy it then ask how they TOO can do what I do. It's not rocket science.

There are many ways to make extra money but the better ones pay better up front and also over time. Leveraging a team of people who can sell through writing “ex: copywriting” will allow you to passively build that income stream that will pay off those things you always wanted off your back. Writing alone will not keep you from a day job but will help you in many ways like preparing you to start you own business. My preferred business is one that people and also builds my wealth with asset collection vs debt collection.

The best ways to make extra money is one where you can capitalize on what's hot 😉
