*The previous Numis Network Blog Post Has Been Removed*
Numis Network
yes I left…
Numis Network was good to me… I love the guys running it.
I have talked to and had a meal with Jake Kevorkian and he's a down to earth owner.
I have spoken to a lot of the people in there and I wanted to RE-WRITE my blog post about Numis Network.
I joined David Wood because I join Leadership and have been following David for years.
Much love to the leaders in Numis Network Leaders but I just didn't see it a fit for me.
Yes – I Left Numis Network…
but that doesn't mean you should too or it should prevent you from joining Numis Network.
If you are looking for someone to join… join Kris Darty, David Wood, or Ray Higdon…
(I believe Diane Hockman, Raymond Fong as also promoting it…. so look them up)
There are a lot of studs over there who are happy and my original blog post I wasn't of the right mind…
Brief History Of My Numis Network Run
I sponsored 12 people in 6 days and at that time that was good enough for 4 star.
I believe I personally sponsored and closed (gave a LOT to my team) around 60 personal sponsors in a 18 month run.
I had 1 leg from David Wood so I was primarily just building the other leg.
Where am I now and Why Did I Leave Numis Network?
My initial leaving caused some commotion just due to the fact I was being a little “hot headed”.
I thought bottom line… if I can't make it happen here then NO one can… obviously that points out a couple things.
1) I didn't at that time of the blog post writing really understand what an “opportunity” is… See regardless of what I personally do that doesn't mean someone before or after me will have the same outcome as me.
This was a part of me growing up and accepting a leadership role in our industry. I now understand there is no guaranteed success so me writing an article about my experience, even if it was truthful, doesn't help the industry I love… which is direct selling… especially in the home biz space.
I want this industry to grow and by me persuading people that Numis Network wasn't for them is not what is best for our industry and straight up going against what a REAL biz opp is about… the ability to EARN on your own pace and your own efforts until you can duplicate.
2) I was on the war path to just airing out my frustrations towards the industry and company when the industry and company have done nothing but help me grow over the years.
I'm your average guy… 3 kids, worked as a mechanical engineer for 12 years in oil and gas services, and wanted a better life with MLM and internet marketing.
Crushing someone's dream in that… all it does is close the door to NEW people who have yet to experience the joy I have had with this industry which has allowed me to retire my wife from Accounting and myself from engineering April 18, 2012… and eventually making my first $100k in 2 weeks in October 2012 with Empower Network.
Who am I to crush someone's dreams…
Better yet… who the F do I think I am..????
Looking back… just because someone makes money doesn't mean they are BETTER than anyone else… so looking on what I had written I think it was best to scratch it out and start over.
So have taken down the video and the original article I have and wanted to give it a different spin.
That spin being…
No one can tell what you are truly worth
No one can really know what your truly desire
No one can really shut you out of your destiny
I don't subscribe to coincidence and feel I had to GROW a bit to fully embrace what Numis Network was = a building block to helping me grow as a business owner…
Should You Join Numis Network?
Sure, do your homework.
There isn't a Numis Network scam to be afraid of as it's a business geared to helping people grow.
They are internet friendly and love to partner with internet marketers like MLSP and No Excuses with Ray and Ferny.

yeah man.. it’s all good. I just wanted to air out why I left and that doesn’t mean you should leave. I wanted to tell my story vs someone else telling it.
Mike · May 16, 2012 at 8:44 am
Wow. This is an extremely informative and well written post. I’ve been with Numis over a year now.
Lawrence Tam · May 16, 2012 at 8:50 am
don’t get me wrong… numis has a ton of great people there… it just wasn’t for me as a promoter. I still buy bullion and will buy from them as long as it’s competitive. As a business, i gave it a good 2 years and it just didn’t work for me and my team.
many will have success there but I wanted to be open to what i’m doing and why I left.
Raymond Fixjerald · April 15, 2012 at 5:07 pm
Numis Network is a Scam Visalus is a Scam all MLMs are Scams that’s why you guys keep jumping from program to program you should find a real business not one where 99.99% of people fail. In time you will leave Visalus too once it dies out and you will be on to the next Scam!
I will look you up Bro when your in the next company find a real job
ha ha
Lawrence Tam · April 16, 2012 at 11:23 am
you gotta love a hate..
1) I’m a full time engineer (mechanical)… everyone knows the MOST Money you get in engineering is when you jump to ANOTHER job.. that’s how I increased my salary by 40%
2) I don’t consider it jumping so much as Learning…
when you start making $50k/month part time we can have an adult conversation.. Until then… go on and be a hater on people’s blogs and hope grow up soon 😉
Jonny Lee · March 20, 2012 at 11:42 pm
Hey guys, I just wanted to comment on your page.
I was wondering how many MLM companies you have dealt with in the past.
can you contact me by email so we can possibly discuss this if you have time?
thanks!
also I was wondering if you could check out my blog site and toss me some comments if you have a couple minutes.
Thanks again!

This is why I will follow Lawrence Tam where ever he goes. He is a leader and a true leader can admit to mistakes and continue moving forward. I don’t think it was really a mistake to join Numis though. I think it was and is a great opportunity. However, when it comes to making you and your team a profitable income from a business standpoint, the current setup isn’t as enticing as one would like it to be.
No one can or should knock Lawrence for making business decisions that can have an impact on the bottom line and the bottom line of the people who follow him (whether family, friends, or business partners.)
Profit is crucial to any successful business. You gotta no when to hold em and know when to fold em. 😉
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:07 pm
you know why I did this.. you even know how I prepared you for my leaving.. my intention was not to move a team but to make sure you know why this is being done and that I wanted you to be happy.. you trusted me in numis and if they are happy why break it?
i look forward to still working with you regardless of my leaving numis… plain and simple… see you at the top 😉
Michelle Pescoslido · February 28, 2012 at 1:33 pm
Interesting Lawrence. Best of luck with Visalus. As a Numis Rep and having a ton of success, I feel your success with Visalus could of been accomplished with Numis too had you been in the shoes that you were in right when you started Visalus. You know as well as I do that your situation changed after you started in Empower therefore you had a bigger following. Which positioned you well for Visalus. Had that been the case for you in Numis you would be doing the same just as I am having a ton of success with Numis and MLSP. It’s all about growing and timing. You knock Numis but in reality it’s because your heart wasn’t in it and it shows. Numis is an excellent company just like Visalus. Both at which I could make money at both. I could kill it at both but I am not knocking why I got a refund from Visalus when I joined. hmmm maybe I should. Best to you.
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:24 pm
your team is rocking Michelle… i think the air got sucked out when i noticed over a 2 year stint my team had no customers to support the residuals we all were working so hard for.
sure i’m doing well with visalus because of empower network but 40+ people into numis is nothing to sneeze at..
i was the newbie who just assumed if your a rank your getting paid… and this applies for ANY company not just numis but i just fell into the thinking if i run super hard for 2 years it will happen..
and it didn’t and then the numis price increase and the required 2 coins which i didn’t want… i started to buy more pcgs vs the standard anacs they force reps..
i mean… i think numis could be such a better outlet if they allowed bullion as an autoship feature.
regardless… i have stacks of anacs that no one wants to buy and i’m trying to give it back to numis only to find out you can’t return it to them until your 5 yr anniversary of that coin purchase in it’s 120 window… dooooh
look. if your reading this and you want to build numis.. Michelle is a great person and I’ve met her in person and she will take care of you.
i decided to leave and felt sending my precious traffic from empower to it would not have yielded the returns for my TEAM….
i sponsored 44 people into visalus in 5 weeks. my team is at 301 distributors…. and over 100 customers right out of the gate…
so that isn’t about me making money.. it’s about the 13 bmws, the 4 nationals I broke in visalus…
and the crazy thing is… only 1 person from numis followed and they are just a customer gatherer and not a rep producer..
we can all win and wanted to get it off my chest that not all is real honky dorey with lawrence.. people assumed i was making 10k/month in numis when i never did… oh boy i sure wish it was true but it wasn’t…
much power to you michelle. …. go recruit my fence sitters on numis
christopher · February 28, 2012 at 10:18 am
Lawrence,
I am glad you finally decided to do a video on your actual numis earnings… Not too many online marketers would be willing to, since they usually preach that they are making 6 figures from said company when they are not, with their only motive is to earn the initial sign-up commission from new candidates.
I do feel bad for those who signed up for numis under you though. They are left in the dust, $500 less and without an upline “leader.” The only thing they gained is priceless experience and a lesson learned. I’ve always said that you lose money first and you learn the lesson later…
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:10 pm
well on the flip side… numis is a binary… so they still have a leader.. there are at least 2 awesome leaders that my team can tap into… so they aren’t left in the dust… just that my team knows how much work and effort i put into teaching them personally with webinars and skype calls (yeah.. i only take skype calls with team members)….
but they know if they wanted to stay there is still leadership there.
Karl · February 27, 2012 at 11:58 pm
Wow bro…. Thats just insane.
Well vi has been doing you good so far…
Big wake up call
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:11 pm
i think god had a plan in the action… i mean i would never have left solo.. i have been approached at least 10 times from many good marketers but it wasn’t good for me because i need to roll as a team…
then the master alliance was born… call it luck.. i call it faith… it came together.
Kimberly Flores · February 27, 2012 at 11:43 pm
True blue.
“if you can’t help people then your going to have a HELL of a time making a real difference in this world.”
Well said.
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:12 pm
we are not in top tier where they have no real downlines… we build teams. and teams are supposed to make money…
if my main goal is to help them…. i better do it fast because people deserve better.
martin · February 27, 2012 at 11:04 pm
sounds like you drunk the numis koolaid and jumped in without doing your own due diligence.
Please tell me you weren’t focusing your energy on building your dads business as opposed to working with those who joined you & actually had a sincere interest in building a business?
were you slamming people into your dad’s orphan leg?
“The binary was an awful way for me to help my father. Once he went to the “overflow” leg it was basically impossible to build his PAID LEG which basically defeated my objective to helping him financially.”
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:13 pm
i sponsored about 40-50 people.. i lose count since i gave so many reps to my teams for THEM to sponsor so they could hit rank and get some love…
i gave my dad about 5 in his orphan leg…
my company collapsed prior to numis. i made a decision to roll with a good friend of mine… i don’t regret the learning experience. i regret not making my team more money…
Max Brand · February 27, 2012 at 10:49 pm
Lawrence, I staid in Numis too long myself. I cancelled last month. When they started out the coins were excellent to collect. Then as silver prices started to rise and the selection deteriorated. I never made a dime with Numis. The market sector was to small. A real collection is base on scarcity. When the market is overloaded the value is greatly reduced. I have an uncirculated 1881 Morgan silver dollar. Unfortunately that year too many minted.
I appreciate your statement on leaving Numis. When you detailed the various compensation plans, I knew what Numis was doing. I think your light went on when you looked at your presentation.
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:14 pm
yeah, i wanted to inform you personally as your one of my team members who believed in my vision… that vision came to a crashing halt as many in my team could NOT get customers.. and customers is where the real residual is at… not just sponsoring reps.
Chris A · February 27, 2012 at 10:40 pm
Fantastic and probably one of the most honest “reviews” without bashing the company. I was so on the fence with Numis with you know who being so prominent, but it just didn’t sit well and I remember Mark Yarnell stating how he wasn’t too fond of binaries. I stuck with health and wellness as well as that simply has like you said, more emotional ties to it. Chris
Lawrence Tam · February 29, 2012 at 1:15 pm
this is my 2nd binary…. i thought people would buy buy buy so no issue on volume… and i was wrong again with this binary….
i never claim to be the brightest cat in town.. i learn from mistakes… it was a good learning experience and I’ve grown to accept business is a every growing organic living thing 😉
Ray Tilley · February 24, 2012 at 2:16 am
Thankyou Lawrence!
It’s refreshing to see an open and honest review! I was torn between joining Numis and Visalus but you have opened my eyes and therefore made my decision a no brainer.
I really respect that! A lot of leaders wouldn’t come out and do what you have so I am encouraged that my original decision to favour Visalus was the right one. As soon as they land in Australia I am in.
Cheers mate.
Lawrence Tam · February 24, 2012 at 11:29 am
not sure when they will go… they are growing so fast it’s nuts.. 105k new customers in canada/usa/jamacia… alone in jan 2012
but. my goal is for people to see my mistake.. the mistake of having been in a company that just doesn’t pay well.. how???
how many NEW 6 figure earners are they creating in numis? When the #1 female income earner gets a $10k check… I’m getting a $25k check next month and I’m in the business a whole 5 weeks.
it boils down to customers… not enough of them in the silver/gold market… health… whole different ball game
jen · February 23, 2012 at 1:06 pm
Lawrence you used to do Send Out Cards I believe. What do you think of that opportunity now?
Lawrence Tam · February 23, 2012 at 9:23 pm
i am about to close all rep ties.. i’ll be a customer but they are VERY picky about other companies… i don’t think the money is in there.. it’s a system and your not going to get the viral traffic that I was able to product in Visalus by a long shot…
Elijah Brewer · February 16, 2012 at 10:10 pm

Lawrence Tam · February 18, 2012 at 10:30 pm
oooooooh yeah!
Chappell · February 12, 2012 at 6:36 pm
Please explain your site. It appears you don’t like numis, and then you promote it to join! This is really confusing!
Lawrence Tam · February 13, 2012 at 7:19 am
I didn’t want to take down the original article… but wanted to ADD to it… after 2 years in the business. putting in over 50+ people and making money in it… the writing was on the wall. people were not duplicating and there were NO CUSTOMERS…… Period.
When you have no customers then your residual is ONLY tied to your distributors autoship payments…. that’s a no-no.
NO one on my team was making at least a 1,000/month… that is just plain sad. I failed my team, my friends and my family by believing people wanted “assets”…. that was further from the truth… only a very small percentage wanted to collect assets.
I had to eat crow and decide what was the best decision for my family, my father, my students, and my own teams…. how can I HELP them, serve them…
by NOT making them money… over a 2 year period… I had to make the jump. The registration box above dives into what I’ve done and why ALREADY I have people in my team making 10x what they were making in Numis….I’m not talking about me… since I know I can make money… but my TEAM is making a least $1,000+ now.
Rick Martin · September 27, 2011 at 3:14 am
Lawrence , I appreciate your attitude. I think it’s awesome that this category was introduced in the MLM industry. I think it is awesome and will no doubt help pique the interest of many who would not otherwise join a network marketing business. I wish you and all Numis reps all the success you dream of.
Lawrence Tam · September 27, 2011 at 10:02 am
thank you very much for stopping by. There is plenty of money in this industry and those who stick around long enough with the skill set necessary to make it happen WILL make it happen.
