I just had a forum discussion with a member of MLSP. The whole issue with mindset is a common one. This member “Michael” doesn't get it but he can change that. It's just a flip of the switch.

BUT.

he has to want it.

I wrote out a response after he thought I was trying to pitch him even though I was just telling him he needs direction and a mentor.

So after being blamed of pitching this is what my response was:

“I have literally talked to thousands of people. Now i don't… I outsource which is a completely different subject. But, i still speak with REAL members.

Why do you think I'm one of the FEW leaders on here helping people?

Cause this is where I MADE MY JUMP. I learned a lot in forums and I ultimately joined some leaders. why?

They could offer me something I couldn't buy. Real Mentorship and someone to bounce ideas from.

Like one of my members now told me “Lawrence, you can be selling MLM brownies and it wouldn't make a freaking difference. You have what I need and you have helped me without want before. I can only imagine what you offer when we are in business together”.

see my business partner gets it. Sure you won't sponsor everyone. But we aren't here to sponsor everyone. I'm here to work with leaders and groom rookies into players.

I mean come on now. Do you think after sponsoring 400+ into MLSP and 50+ into my primary opp all online all part time that I would want to SELL Michael something. Sell him that it's too hard?

hahah. yes Michael, quit while your ahead so you can stop getting pitched to. This is the internet. get used to it. My kids and wife pitch me all day long about playing wii or taking them out to a $40 steak dinner. it is what it is.

There will come a point in your journey when you figure out:
1) I tried my way, I learned a lot
2) With the knowledge I have from MLSP, and hundreds of hours of studying…. how in the heck do I apply
3) When you apply you fail, fail, only get 1 lead, fail……..

this is where people quit.

It's like Jordan shooting 4 bricks at the 3 pt line. You think he stops? NOPE!
He goes to practice harder and re-applies what he's learned in game time decisions.

The tools and training is there. If you don't fail enough you won't succeed either. I have failed more than a LOT OF YOU COMBINED…

Why?

I test. re-test, test again, then hit gold.

My 50 leads a day are no joke and doesn't include one lead from google ppc anymore.

I'm a professional marketer (even though I do this part time).

And I encourage ANYONE to out work me time for time. Who is more efficient than me and wants it worse than I do.

I feel NO ONE. and why I am a L4 leader #10 MLSP signsups and #4 leads generated and I did this all part time while holding down a R&D mechanical engineering position.

Great post Lawrence, tell it like it is brother! One thing I ask is, “Are you a player or a spectator?”. We're in a game and I'm looking for teammates.

yep, if you haven't exploded or feel you have personal walls stopping you…. it's time to refocus and maybe it's just you need someone to “tell you” what to do. Many people in the industry really do need some form of micromanaging.

Lawrence, this post really struck a chord with me, sitting here in not so sunny London UK. With 20+ years in corporate marketing, I reckoned I just couldn't fail when I joined my first MLM business. After 2 years of what most people would call dismal failure, I discovered attraction marketing and MyLeadSystemPro and realised there's another, better, way forward. I also realised that it's not just about what you know (though that's important), it's largely down to how you think. My mindset wasn't right and I was listening to the wrong people. However – I don't give up that easily and I've recently started a blog to help people on their journey to MLM success. Clearly the level of help I can offer isn't the same as yours, but I am getting there! All the very best to you.

How is it going VV. I shall call you that. it's my blog 😉

yeah. people just don't get why a L4 would spend time to just kick it with the people. Cause I'm JUST LIKE YOU. I bleed and get frustrated. I need help all the time. I know if I can't teach it I just don't know it.

In the beginning you just want to sponsor everyone into your MLSP and Primary Opp. but when you get further down the road you stop sponsoring. You actually interview. My time is precious to me. When someone works with me I expect a level of professionalism too. Dont' give up in 1yr, follow directions, be a self motivator, out work me!

Glad to see ya on and hope to see you kill that leaderboard in MLSP.

oh.. I better see you in Vegas.

Lawrence, I have had a few questions in my first 7 months as an Internet Marketer and have had each one answered by you. Everytime I have asked myself, 'why is HE answering my question?' This blog post answered that question. You're a TRUE leader and I truly appreciate your help w/ my questions. It's cool to see that there are people who really care about the success of others without an instant return of gratification. Very cool. Keep up what you're doing and be glad you don't have that dude on your team that doesn't 'get it.'

absorb what I teach and look to improve what I do. I am always looking for those who can “out work me” 😉

Phenomenal advice Lawrence. It's the reason I'm proud to call you my Team Leader!
